The following message is an update regarding how the COVID-19 global pandemic may affect your upcoming wedding.
First and foremost my heart goes out to all of my brides who are so much MORE than just clients to me and my team. This is supposed to be the most wonderful and special time of your life, filled with nothing but happiness. Please know you have our support as much as possible through these stressful times as you work to make difficult decisions that may affect your current wedding plan.
This action plan is as up to date as the date posted at the top of this webpage, and is subject to change at any time so we can continue to follow government guidelines.
If you are proceeding to move forward as planned, and if government officials declare it safe for salons and beauty service businesses to reopen to the general public in the state/county in which you are getting married, we plan to work your wedding. We will keep in constant communication with our weddings that are moving forward as planned to monitor safety guidelines and recommendations from the government and CDC.
However, if federal state and municipality stay at home orders are still in effect, or Top Knots by Aimee stylists' health would be put at risk, we will, unfortunately not be working your wedding. We will continue to seek guidance from state government leaders, Cosmetology State Board leaders, and the CDC/WHO to ensure we create a safe environment for Top Knots By Aimee clients and team prior to resuming weddings.
New guidelines have been created to to protect our staff and our clients. We will be monitoring state guidelines and our policies will be updated accordingly.
As State board licensed cosmetologists, we abide by mandated sanitary procedures. In light of the current situation, we are taking extra measures. Top Knots By Aimee stylists are licensed cosmetologists and all are Barbicide certified (sanitation certified). All clients and Top Knots By Aimee Team Stylists will be required to wear masks at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS (even if you’ve already had your makeup done).
Please see our full list of guidelines here to best prepare for your wedding day: topknotsbyaimee.com/policies
We are committed to helping all of our brides that choose to postpone their weddings to the best of our ability. Most weddings that have been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic have been successfully rescheduled with our team.
Deposits are not refundable.
For Brides Postponing into Late-2020:
If you choose to postpone to later 2020, and if our team is available on your new wedding date we will credit the already paid $200 deposit toward the new contract. Both parties will be required to sign a new contract confirming the new wedding date.
For Brides Postponing into 2021:
To secure your rescheduled wedding date into 2021 Top Knots by Aimee will require 30% of your final expected balance to be paid at the time the new contract is signed. There are no additional fees, but we are requiring to be paid a portion of the balance that was expected to be paid in 2020 to continue to work on your wedding and stay in communication regarding the details of your big day another year. Both parties will be required to sign a new contract confirming the new wedding date.
If your Lead Artist is not available on your new wedding date we will replace them with another Top Knots By Aimee artist. If no artists are available from our team then we will work with you on next steps to cancel wedding services on an individual basis.
For clients getting married within the coming months, we know this is a concerning time for you and we are here to help navigate this with you to the best of our ability. Please be patient with us as we work with you to discuss what the best solution is for your wedding and please keep the line of communication open as things are constantly changing.
